Hunters Hill House

—  A contemporary addition to an existing 1940’s home in Hunters Hill in need of more space, storage, light, and excitement. Demolition of the rear half of the home made way for a striking minimalist ground floor and second level addition with glass mosaic-lined swimming pool. Thermally massive polished limestone concrete floor retains solar energy on cooler days, whilst glass louvred windows encourage cross-ventilation throughout. This sustainable home generates and stores its own electricity and harvests its own rainwater for use in bathrooms and the vegetable garden.
